It's so easy to feel defeated and/or deflated. Oftentimes I just want to turn off my brain and give up. But I have to remind myself to look at the bigger picture. Play the long game and see it through. I've come this far already, I owe it to myself to move forward. I have to keep picking myself up when times get tough and continue on. How do I cope? Good question. I don't really know to be honest. I think I just find distractions to keep myself from thinking about all problems in my life. I keep myself busy or I zone out and binge a TV series or get lost in a book. The odd times I'm ready to focus and be productive, I envision my future and the life that I want. I create a checklist and makes goals for myself. How about you? What are your coping strategies and how do you stay focused and motivated?
